Welcome to Fine Buck. Fine Buck is operated by an independent developer based in New Zealand, dedicated to building honest, bloat free software and wonders.

We value your privacy fundamentally. Our creations are built from the ground up so that you can interact with utility features and everyday artificial intelligence without needing an account, without logging in, and without being tracked by advertising or surveillance networks.

This Privacy Policy explains what happens to information when you interact with our creations, how third party Artificial Intelligence (AI) service providers process queries, and your rights under privacy laws worldwide including the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, GDPR, and US State privacy frameworks.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

To be as transparent as possible, here is what we never do:

• No User Accounts: You do not need to register, provide your name, create a password, or submit an email address to use our wonders.
• No Advertising or Tracking SDKs: We do not use third party analytics trackers, behavioral trackers, or ad cookies.
• No Developer Server Storage: We do not store your prompts, calculations, fitness entries, or personal data on central developer owned servers or databases.

3. Information That Is Processed

While we do not build profiles or retain your personal data, certain information must be processed transiently for tools to function:

A. Prompts, Inputs and Calculations

When you type a query, prompt, or upload text into AI features within our wonders, that content is transmitted over an encrypted connection to third party AI providers via Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to generate a response. Local calculations and utility notes remain strictly on your device.

B. On Device Storage (Local Data)

Any history, logs, saved preferences, or settings generated within our applications are stored locally on your device. You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser or app storage, or uninstalling. We have zero access to this local data.

C. Technical Transmission Data

When connecting to external APIs, standard technical metadata (such as IP addresses and device headers) is transmitted as part of basic internet routing protocols. We do not inspect, retain, or log this data.

4. Third Party AI Service Providers (APIs)

To provide intelligent responses, our apps integrate with enterprise AI infrastructure providers via commercial API keys (including OpenAI, Google Alphabet, Groq, and Anthropic).

How These Providers Handle API Data

Commercial AI API providers operate under policies stating that data submitted via paid APIs is not used to train models without explicit opt in. They may retain transient logs (typically 30 days) solely for abuse prevention and security compliance.

Important Note: Because queries are routed to these providers, do not submit sensitive personal information (such as credit card numbers, passwords, government IDs, or confidential health records).

5. Age Restrictions and Children's Privacy

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, GDPR, and US state privacy acts (CCPA and CPRA), you have rights of access, correction, and deletion. Because we maintain zero centralized databases or user identifiers, we hold no linked records. To erase your data, simply clear your local device storage.

All communications with third party endpoints use Transport Layer Security (HTTPS and TLS encryption). However, no internet transmission is completely infallible, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
